Around the world, fisheries are under threat. Development continues to encroach on wilderness areas, and climate change is affecting oceans and river habitats. Overfishing has also taken a toll on our finite fish species. Therefore, as fly-fishing business operators, we have a responsibility to not only protect these resources but to help preserve them for many generations to come.

Sea-Run Brown Trout

Sea-Run Brown Trout (Salmo trutta) are one of the most widely distributed non-native fish introduced to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

Golden Dorado

Freshwater dorado (Salminus brasiliensis) are strikingly beautiful, extremely strong, and they jump like a Tarpon when hooked. All in all, they may claim the prize as the most exciting freshwater gamefish on the planet.

Brown Trout

Brown trout (Salmo trutta) have the ability to grow to 9+ pounds. Although in most small rivers a mature brown might average 2 to 3 pounds.

Rainbow Trout

Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) is favored by fly fishers because of its beautiful coloration—for which it’s named—and its fighting ability.

Bonefish

Bonefish (Albula vulpes) are pound-for-pound some of the strongest and fastest saltwater gamefish.

Pirá Pitá

In northern Argentina, there are two species belonging to the Brycon genus, both of them known in mainstream fishing culture as Pirá Pitás.

Pacú

Like Pirá Pitá, Pacú are omnivorous, and chances are you might find them surface feeding on fruit or insects.

Tararira

Hoplias malabaricus, aka tararira, is one of the most popular gamefish to catch on flies or lures around Buenos Aires.
