Both Futa Lodge and Northern Patagonia Lodge offer an abundance of fishing options sure to satisfy the needs of our angling guests. To cover the large expanses of the waters available more effectively, drift boats are used in both operations. While all waters except for the Filo Hua Hum are generally fished drifting, not all waters and pools can be fished wading.

Years of experience fishing and floating the region’s waters will set our guides apart from the rest, ensuring an exciting and safe ride downriver. Northern Patagonia Lodge offers a wide range of drift boat day trips to a variety of waters in the region, and also offers the special experience of multi-day raft trips down the magnificent Río Limay. Naturally resulting in a long float to ensure you cover the areas productive water and pools.

Compared to Northern Patagonia Lodge, the drifts on the Chilean Río Futaleufú valley seem shorter. What it lacks in miles it makes up for with its structural splendor. Nestled in an alpine valley, the Río Futaleufú meanders through hard rock and surprises anglers with a mind dazzling array of structure, riffles, and deep pools.
