The Smith River is widely considered to be the best multi-day fly fishing river in the lower 48. The majority of the float is through a spectacular limestone canyon. Dense evergreen forests are also common and you camp at four remote campsites along the way. The fishing is very good and the scenery and wildlife viewing are even better. This is a very highly sought after trip and also strictly permitted. Camps are limited to 8 anglers. For smaller groups we mix parties on the same trip (again, a max of 8). These are first class trips all the way with multiple guides running camp and a 2:1 ratio of angler to guide while fishing. It is widely considered to be one of the premier overnight river trips for fly fishing in the world and books very far in advance.
