Stephan Gian Dombaj. Ex Guide, Camp Manager, Expedition Scout and Fieldsports Media Producer with nearly a two decades of experience in Argentina. He has been working as a professional photographer and photo-journalist across Europe since 2007 for numerous fashion agencies, published for the dpa (German press agency) and countless fly fishing magazines. His brainchild “Fly Fishing Nation” accounts for staggering amount of cover publications, film festival submission and award winning media. With 94 countries fished and more travelled, At the age of 18 he started as a fly fishing professional and has since been involved in equipment designs and destination/expedition angling alike. He has worked with the industries top brands in the industry, influencing it in key aspects ever since. Marketing, Photography and Project Management are his main assets – Camp Management, Guiding and Scouting his passion. Stephan and his wife, Marina Dombaj, are long time Kau Tapen Group affiliates – together, they have fished every lodge in our portfolio.
