Fly shops are allies when it comes to preparing for your next fishing expedition. They’re where we go to source timely information on river conditions, and they’re where we find essential equipment to get the job done.
But these local businesses can be tough to reach when your three days into a Bahamas bonefishing adventure, or when your swinging for sea-run brown trout on remote stretches of the Rio Grande in Tierra del Fuego. That’s why every Nervous Waters location conveniently houses a fully-equipped store, with selections of the best flies for the waters you’ll be fishing, and carrying wares from top brands, in case you need a new reel or want to upgrade to the latest rod from Sage.
Leaders, tippets, fly lines, and logo gear? Our “mini” fly shops carry all the fishing essentials for getting the most out of the specific fisheries you’ll be targeting. At our South America lodges such as Kau Tapen and Villa Maria, where waders and boots are a must, you’ll find high-quality products from Patagonia. If you’re traveling without these items, let us know your size (pants and boots) in advance, so we can check availability and ensure your requests are met upon arrival.
In addition to items you can purchase, Nervous Waters offers a full selection of best-in-class loaner equipment (rods and reels that are ready to fish). Our loaner program is free of charge for all guests.
In the event you have questions about what flies to buy or which gear makes the most sense for a specific lodge, don’t hesitate to contact our local experts info@nervouswaters.com. We’ll get back to you ASAP with accurate information.
